About me
Hi, I'm Mark Hamlyn. I write about DevSecOps, infrastructure, and the projects I build to better understand how things work in my homelab.
Starting this site is something I've been thinking about for quite a while, and I finally decided to give it a go.
It's a place for me to share what I'm learning, document the challenges I encounter, and capture ideas and solutions that might help others on a similar journey.
My goal is to post regularly, covering topics from technology and home lab projects to occasional reflections on work and life, time permitting.
What I work on
I enjoy exploring and documenting topics across:
- AI home labs and locally hosted models
- Homelab infrastructure, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Operational Technology (OT) systems and cybersecurity
- AI-assisted development and productivity workflows
- Experimenting, learning, and sharing what I discover along the way
